Student League Prize Winners Concert

Every year, members of the Student League compete for prizes in performance before

a panel of noted teachers and musicians selected by their advisor, Velda Kelley. The

prizes, all carrying monetary rewards, are First Prize, Second Prize and Honorable

Mention in the categories of Piano, Strings, Brass/Winds and Voice. This concert, a

showcase for the winners of the competition, should not be missed; you will hear some

truly fine music making. The audience may not have any advance idea of who is on the

program, but will be greatly rewarded by listening to the musical achievements of these

artists of tomorrow. An afterglow will follow the concert.
